Librarian



We are searching for an experienced and passionate Librarian to join our team at our library in Manama, Bahrain. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, organizing and cataloging materials, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition, cataloging, and processing of library materials
- Develop and maintain a well-organized and easily accessible library collection
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Plan and implement engaging programs and events that promote literacy and learning
- Collaborate with other departments to provide support for curriculum needs
- Train staff on library procedures and technology usage
- Maintain accurate records and statistics of library usage

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging standards, and information retrieval tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Location:
The position is located in Manama, Bahrain. It does not include accommodation.
