Crane Operator



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain different types of cranes according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Inspect cranes and their components before use to ensure they are in good working condition
- Safely lift, move, and position heavy materials using the crane controls
- Communicate with team members on the ground to ensure safe and efficient operation of the crane
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating the crane
- Keep detailed records of crane operations, maintenance, and any incidents that occur
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes to ensure they are always in good working condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid certification or license to operate cranes according to local regulations
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to crane operations
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams for various types of cranes
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team
- Physically fit with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if needed

Salary: The salary for this role is $1200 per month.

This is a contract job with the potential for long-term employment. Visa sponsorship may be provided for qualified candidates.
