Librarian - Khasab, Oman


We are in need of a dedicated and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Khasab, Oman. This position is open to both locals and foreigners who have a passion for books and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials
- Organize and maintain the library's cataloging system
- Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
- Provide research assistance to students and faculty
- Plan and coordinate library events and programs
- Train students on how to properly use library resources

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Librarian
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with library software systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
