Executive Pastry Chef
We are in search of a highly skilled and creative Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Ajman. As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of all pastries and desserts for our restaurant. Your main goal will be to create delicious and visually appealing desserts that will leave a lasting impression on our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update pastry menu items according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Plan and oversee the production of all pastries, including breads, cakes, cookies, and other desserts
- Train and manage pastry chefs, bakers, and other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies, ordering as needed to maintain stock levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments such as the restaurant manager and marketing team to develop new dessert offerings or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety measures
- Creativity in designing unique desserts that appeal to customers visually and taste-wise
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English required; fluency in Urdu is a plus
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
