Instrument Technician - Vianden, Luxembourg


We are currently seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in industrial or manufacturing settings. This is a contract position with a salary of 1800$ per month and includes accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing instruments or systems
- Conduct regular maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate instruments as needed for accurate readings
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on instruments and systems
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve instrument efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of instruments and control systems used in these settings
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed

Preferred:
- Experience working with instrumentation software such as PLCs or HMI systems
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring for instrumentation
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
