Back-End Developer


We are hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in St. Petersburg. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web and mobile applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of our systems. You should have a strong background in software development and be familiar with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side architecture for web and mobile applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by implementing best practices for data storage and retrieval
- Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role (2+ years)
- Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
