Carpenter for Building and Renovation Projects in Acre, Kenya


We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Acre, Kenya. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for building and renovating structures, including roofs, floors, walls, and other interior and exterior elements. This position is ideal for Kenyan nationals with a biometric passport who prefer English-speaking work environments. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
- Measure and cut materials to specification using hand and power tools
- Install structures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and stairs
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other wooden structures
- Work with different types of wood and materials to create quality finished products
- Follow safety procedures at all times while working on the job site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience working as a Carpenter is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools accurately
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and safety standards
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
