Librarian - Information Services Specialist

As a Librarian - Information Services Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collections, providing research assistance to patrons, and maintaining the library's information resources. Your main duties will include cataloging and classifying materials, developing and implementing programs to promote library resources, and assisting with collection development. You must have a strong understanding of library science principles and be proficient in using library databases and other digital resources. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be working closely with library users from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field, along with previous experience working in a library setting. Fluency in English is required, as well as proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with various software programs.
