Indian Chef
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes, managing the kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food production.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Indian Chef
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create unique and flavorful dishes while maintaining food cost control
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to speak English fluently
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring traditional Indian dishes with a modern twist
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and recipe execution
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control to ensure profitability
- Ensure all food is prepared according to set standards of quality, taste, presentation, and portion size
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management on menu development, specials, and promotions
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients
- Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and maintenance needs
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position.
