Librarian vacancy in Isa Town Bahrain

Title: Contract Librarian


The Contract Librarian will be responsible for managing and organizing the library collection at our educational institution in Isa Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in library science and a passion for promoting literacy and learning. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1000$ per month, and candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of one year.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an efficient system for cataloging, shelving, and loaning books
- Assist students and faculty with research inquiries and locating resources
- Plan and implement programs to promote reading and literacy among students
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom instruction
- Manage budget for purchasing new materials and maintaining existing collection
- Stay updated on current trends in library science, technology, and education

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a librarian
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with library management systems
- Ability to work independently
