Indian Cuisine Chef
As an Indian Cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant in Kaunas. You will be working closely with our kitchen team to ensure high quality and flavorful dishes are served to our customers. The ideal candidate for this position should have a passion for Indian cuisine and be able to create traditional dishes with a modern twist.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and creating menus based on traditional Indian recipes
- Preparing ingredients and cooking authentic Indian dishes such as curries, biryanis, tandoori dishes, etc.
- Training kitchen staff on proper techniques and recipes for Indian cuisine
- Ensuring food quality and presentation meets our standards
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
To excel in this role, you should have:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new and innovative dishes while staying true to the authenticity of the cuisine
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate kitchen staff
- Food safety certification is preferred
