Power Engineer


We are a fast-growing power company based in Malindi, seeking a skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of power systems and be able to design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable power systems for our clients. The role will involve working on various projects, from small-scale installations to larger utility projects. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1300 per month. This job is suitable for Indian nationals with experience in the power industry and proficiency in English. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop power systems for clients based on their specific needs
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for potential projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions in existing power systems
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians on project teams
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in power technology and incorporate them into designs
- Provide technical support to clients as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the power industry
- Strong understanding of power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution, and control
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD or ETAP
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Willingness to work full-time with occasional overtime as needed
