Cashier - Khasab, Oman
We are hiring a Cashier for our retail store in Khasab, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, and providing excellent customer service. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions using cash registers or other electronic devices
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate amounts
- Greet customers and answer any inquiries regarding products or services
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle returns or exchanges according to company policies
- Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate on products
- Upsell additional products at the checkout counter
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
- Must have a valid biometric passport
