Junior Barista

As a Junior Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages. Your main duties will include taking orders, maintaining cleanliness of the cafe, operating the espresso machine, and creating latte art. You will also be expected to learn about different coffee beans and brewing techniques in order to provide recommendations to customers. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about coffee and looking to gain experience in the industry. Training will be provided, but prior experience as a barista is not required.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to customer preferences
- Operate the espresso machine with precision and maintain its cleanliness
- Create latte art for an enhanced customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the cafe at all times
- Learn about different coffee beans, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles in order to provide recommendations to customers

Requirements:
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills with the ability to take direction from senior baristas
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary: $1700 per month
