Hotel Sales Manager (Malayalee Preferred)

We are in search of an experienced and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and hospitality, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Conduct market research to identify target markets and potential business opportunities
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and other key partners
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the hotel and its services
- Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular reports to management
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. marketing, reservations) to ensure efficient operation of the hotel
- Handle customer complaints or issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats or opportunities

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or similar role
- Fluent in Malayalam (written and spoken) - preference for Malayalee candidates
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, marketing principles, and customer service standards in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field is preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Accommodation will be provided for employees who do not reside in Nakuru.
