Office Assistant - Khasab, Oman
We are in need of a reliable and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Khasab, Oman. This role is ideal for an Indian national with experience in office administration and no language requirement. The main responsibility of this position is to provide support to the office staff and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have previous experience in a similar role. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls and take messages when needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist with scheduling appointments or meetings
- Organize and maintain files and records
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, etc.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry or invoicing
- Coordinate travel arrangements for employees when required
Requirements:
- Indian national preferred
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic accounting knowledge is a plus
