Indian Executive Chef
We are searching for a talented and passionate Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Al Buraymi. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and maintaining menus, and ensuring food quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and be able to work well under pressure. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create new and exciting menus featuring authentic Indian dishes
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently being served
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to ensure the freshest ingredients are being used
- Collaborate with other departments to create special menus for events or promotions
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport preferred
- Must have completed 12th grade
