Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Al Buraymi, Oman)
We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef with a strong background in Indian cuisine to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our kitchen and creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that showcase traditional Indian flavors and ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high quality and consistency in all dishes
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and improve current menu offerings
- Monitor food costs and work within budget constraints while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative mindset with a passion for constantly innovating and improving dishes
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
Salary: 1600$ per month
This is a full-time position with visa sponsorship available. We are looking for an immediate hire so urgency is preferred. As long as you have the required experience and skills, English proficiency is not required for this role.
