Head Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant

As the Head Chef of our fine dining restaurant in Bansko, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our establishment. Your main objective will be to create and execute a high-quality menu that showcases your creativity and expertise in the culinary arts. You will lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and working towards a common goal.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that are unique, innovative, and reflect current food trends
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes to maintain high quality standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to ensure profitability
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, menu items, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to food safety regulations
- Monitor food quality and adjust recipes or processes as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for menu updates or changes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail in presentation and flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards success
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation is not provided but we can assist in finding suitable housing.
