Junior Barista - Siauliai, Lithuania


We are hiring a Junior Barista to join our team at a trendy cafe in Siauliai, Lithuania. As a Junior Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, while providing excellent customer service. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking for temporary work experience in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages according to customer preferences
- Ensure consistent quality of drinks by following recipes and maintaining proper equipment
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and take orders accurately
- Handle cash transactions using POS system and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas
- Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned by the Manager
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Barista or in customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds as needed

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of $1400 per month.
