Civil Engineer - Structural Design Specialist

As a Civil Engineer specializing in Structural Design, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, and dams. You will use your expertise in structural analysis and design to ensure that these structures are safe, functional, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural analysis using software programs and hand calculations to determine the strength and stability of various structures.
- Design structural elements such as foundations, beams, columns, walls, and slabs.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop innovative solutions for construction projects.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure that the project is being built according to the design plans.
- Conduct on-site inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural design.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural design.
- Proficient in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 or ETABS.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members.

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Vianden (accommodation provided)

Preference: Canadian citizens or candidates with valid work visa for Canada. Freshers are welcome to apply.
