Glazier - Contract Position (Indians Preferred)


We are currently seeking skilled and experienced glaziers to join our team on a contract basis in Dickirch. As a glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, and skylights. This is a hands-on role that requires physical dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass according to specified dimensions
- Install glass panels using various techniques such as glazing, caulking, and weather stripping
- Repair or replace damaged glass or frames
- Work with a variety of materials including tempered glass, laminated glass, and insulated glass units
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment when handling glass
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure quality workmanship

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a glazier or in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different types of glass and their applications
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work at heights
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in glazing is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1100 per month.
