Claims Adjuster
As a claims adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating insurance claims and determining the appropriate amount of compensation to be paid to policyholders. This role is critical in ensuring fair and accurate resolution of insurance claims and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims by gathering relevant information and conducting interviews with involved parties
- Analyze policy terms and coverage to determine the extent of liability for each claim
- Evaluate damages or losses sustained by policyholders through site inspections, document review, and expert consultations
- Communicate with policyholders, agents, legal representatives, and other relevant parties to gather information, provide updates on claim status, and negotiate settlements
- Prepare detailed reports outlining the investigation findings and recommended course of action for each claim
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all claim handling processes
- Continuously monitor industry trends and regulations related to claim handling to ensure efficient and effective practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in insurance claims adjusting or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and build relationships
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Familiarity with insurance policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: $1500 per month
Location: Eldoret
Preference given to Indian or Nepali candidates. English proficiency is not required for this role. No prior experience is necessary but candidates must have a valid biometric passport.
