A typesetter is responsible for setting up and arranging text and images to create visually appealing and readable documents. They work closely with authors, graphic designers, and printers to ensure that the final product is of high quality. As a typesetter in our publishing company based in Faisalabad, Pakistan, you will play a crucial role in producing various types of publications such as books, magazines, newspapers, and digital content.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications using computer software
- Check for spelling and grammar errors
- Collaborate with authors to ensure their work is accurately presented
- Communicate with graphic designers to incorporate visuals into the layout
- Work closely with printers to ensure files are print-ready
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and software updates
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the production process

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in using computer software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Understanding of printing processes and file preparation for print production
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Faisalabad, Pakistan. While we prefer candidates who are located in Faisalabad, we are open to considering remote candidates who have suitable qualifications.
