Information Security Analyst
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Vilnius. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. You will conduct risk assessments, monitor network activity, and respond to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles and technologies, as well as experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential security threats
- Monitor network activity for any signs of unauthorized access or malicious activities
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, investigating the cause and implementing necessary measures to prevent future incidents
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems and networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation such as policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards
- Provide training and guidance to staff on information security best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working in information security or related field
- Strong understanding of information security principles, technologies, and best practices
- Experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing tools such as Nessus or Metasploit
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP) and firewall configurations
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR or ISO 27001/27002
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks in complex environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
