IT Manager: Umm-Salal, Qatar



The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's information technology systems and infrastructure in Umm-Salal, Qatar. This includes managing a team of IT professionals, maintaining hardware and software systems, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and integrity of data
- Oversee the maintenance of hardware and software systems, troubleshoot any technical issues that arise
- Identify areas for improvement in the company's technology infrastructure and make recommendations for upgrades or changes
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal speed and functionality
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions as needed
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology to recommend new tools or systems that could benefit the company

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an IT Manager or related position
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, and database management
- Experience with cloud computing platforms is preferred
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Must have a biometric passport for travel purposes
