Civil Engineer - Biometric Passport Project (Ashdod, Israel)
Our established construction company is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. This position will be primarily focused on overseeing the planning, design, and execution of our biometric passport project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting site surveys and assessments to determine project feasibility and requirements
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other team members to develop project plans and timelines
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Managing the budget and resources for the project
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Overseeing construction progress and addressing any issues that may arise
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the project
- Providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status and progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering, preferably with experience managing large-scale projects
- Familiarity with biometric passport technology is a plus
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in relevant software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with strong leadership skills
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1300$ per month. We are open to candidates of all nationalities who have fluent English language skills.
