Baker for Contract Position in Muscat, Oman (Filipino Nationals Preferred)



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our team on a contract basis in Muscat, Oman. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods, such as breads, pastries, and cakes. This is an English-speaking job, so fluency in English is required.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Baker and possess a biometric passport. Filipino nationals are preferred for this position due to their strong baking skills and cultural familiarity with the city of Muscat.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to recipes
- Mix ingredients by hand or with equipment
- Bake various types of breads, pastries, and cakes
- Decorate baked goods with icing or other toppings
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times accordingly
- Inspect finished products for quality and presentation
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Baker in a professional setting
- Biometric passport is required for this contract position
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Good time-management skills to ensure timely delivery of baked goods
- Attention to detail for decorating baked goods
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
