Information Security Analyst


As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the information systems and networks of our company in Gujrat. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, implement, and maintain security measures to protect our organization's sensitive data and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies for prevention
- Implement security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, encryption tools, etc.
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activities and respond promptly to security breaches or cyber attacks
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends and developments to ensure the company's systems are protected against emerging threats
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Conduct employee training programs on information security best practices to promote a culture of security awareness within the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks in new projects or initiatives and provide recommendations for mitigation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security analysis or related roles
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption methods, etc.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.
- Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month along with accommodation benefits for this full-time position.

Location:
This role is based in Gujrat. However, we are open to candidates from other cities within Pakistan who are willing to relocate.
