Indian Pastry Chef
Seeking a skilled Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Remish. As an Indian Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts that reflect the flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new pastry recipes with an emphasis on Indian flavors
- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods including cakes, cookies, and breads
- Ensure all pastries are presented in a visually appealing manner
- Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen including ordering supplies and managing inventory
- Train and supervise other pastry staff members to maintain quality standards
- Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian ingredients, techniques, and flavors
- Ability to create new recipes while also following established recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
