Job Title: Library Assistant - Al-Kuwait



Our library in Al-Kuwait is looking for a Library Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Filipino national who is passionate about books and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the library, including organizing and maintaining the collections, providing excellent customer service to library patrons, and assisting with library programs and events.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collections including books, magazines, and other materials
- Assist patrons with locating and checking out materials
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting with research requests
- Assist with planning and implementing library programs and events
- Process new materials for circulation
- Keep accurate records of circulation statistics and other data
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library space

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a library or customer service role is an asset
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not necessary
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable using technology such as computers, scanners, databases, etc.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends if needed

Salary: 1200$ per month

This is a full-time position without accommodation. Candidates must have their own visa or have the ability to obtain one.
