Radio Technician

A reputable radio broadcasting company in Mombasa is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in radio technology, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing various radio equipment. This position requires knowledge of audio engineering, signal processing, and broadcast systems.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and satellite dishes
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Monitor transmission signals to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of broadcast system

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience working with audio engineering software such as Adobe Audition or Pro Tools
- Strong understanding of signal processing and broadcast systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
