Mining Specialist - Mombasa


We are a leading mining company in Mombasa, seeking a skilled and experienced Mining Specialist to join our team. As a Mining Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the extraction of valuable minerals from the earth. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining mining equipment, conducting surveys and tests, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mining equipment such as drills, excavators, and loaders
- Conduct surveys and tests to determine the location and quality of mineral deposits
- Analyze data collected from surveys and tests to identify the most efficient methods for extraction
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
- Monitor production levels and adjust processes as needed to meet targets
- Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and other team members to develop mining plans
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during operations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mining operations
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment, processes, and safety regulations
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work well within a team

This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month. Please note that this job does not include accommodation.
