Head Baker

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team in Jerusalem. As Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of all baked goods, managing a team of bakers, and ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and taste. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of $1100 per month, with the added benefit of a free visa and ticket for foreigners. We are looking for someone who is passionate about baking and has excellent leadership skills to lead our team to success.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of all baked goods including breads, pastries, and desserts
- Manage inventory and order ingredients as needed
- Train and supervise a team of bakers
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and are presented attractively
- Develop new recipes and menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery
- Monitor equipment performance and schedule repairs or maintenance as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Baker or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creativity in developing new recipes and menu items
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Physically fit to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Fluent in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus)
- Valid work visa (or ability to obtain one) for non-Israeli citizens
