English Tutor in Malindi


We are seeking a qualified English Tutor to join our team in Malindi, a beautiful coastal city in Kenya. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction to students of various ages and levels. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$, including accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to improve students' English skills
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement
- Create lesson plans and materials tailored to each student's needs
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an English tutor or teacher
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Passion for teaching and helping students improve their language skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in different teaching environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience working with non-native English speakers or in a multicultural setting
- Teaching certification or TESOL/TEFL qualification
