Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Nizwa, Egypt. Your main duties will include developing and implementing sales strategies, building relationships with clients, and managing a team of sales representatives. You must have experience in the hotel industry and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze market trends and identify potential business opportunities. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates and students are welcome to apply. A valid work visa is required for this position. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue for the hotel
- Identify potential clients and build strong relationships with them through regular communication and meetings
- Manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure excellent guest experience and satisfaction
- Monitor sales performance using various metrics, such as revenue, occupancy rate, etc.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel sales or related field is required
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (written and verbal)
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of market trends in the hospitality industry in Egypt preferred
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must have a valid work visa for Egypt and be willing to relocate to Nizwa if not currently residing there
