Experienced Mason (Contract) - Al-Kuwait


We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team in Al-Kuwait on a contract basis. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Your main duties will include laying out patterns, cutting and shaping materials, and mixing and applying mortar or grout.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or plans to determine the layout of construction
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, straightedges, or chalk lines
- Break or cut bricks or blocks to size using hammers or saws
- Lay out patterns using plumb lines, squares, and measuring tapes
- Spread mortar evenly over work surface and apply grout between joints of bricks or stones
- Clean excess mortar from surface with trowels and other hand tools
- Repair cracks or defects in existing structures using patching materials such as cement, plaster, or epoxy compounds

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mason in construction or related field
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, tools and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and plans to determine construction layout
- Physical strength to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with measurements

Salary: 1200$ per month (paid bi-weekly)
Location: Al-Kuwait (transportation provided)
Contract length: 6 months with possibility for extension
