Preservation Architect - Kaunas, Lithuania
A reputable architecture firm in Kaunas is seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures by planning and overseeing restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation measures
- Developing preservation plans and budgets for restoration projects
- Overseeing restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and contractors to develop preservation solutions
- Preparing detailed drawings and specifications for restoration work
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets preservation standards
- Conducting research on historical building materials and techniques for accurate restoration
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Knowledge of local preservation regulations and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on historic buildings in Kaunas or Lithuania
- Fluency in Lithuanian language
