Entry-Level Librarian in Akron, Egypt


We are hiring an Entry-Level Librarian to join our team in Akron, Egypt. As a librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the library's collection, assisting patrons with research inquiries, and promoting library resources and services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about books and enjoys helping others.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and classify library materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons with locating materials and research inquiries
- Create displays and promote library resources and services
- Process new items for the collection
- Manage overdue materials and issue fines when necessary
- Assist with planning and implementing library programs for all age groups
- Keep track of inventory and order new materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized library space

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of library databases
- Fluent in Arabic (English proficiency is a plus)
- No prior experience required

Salary: $1700 per month
