Head Chef
As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the culinary operations of our restaurant located in Nakuru, Kenya. You will utilize your expertise in creating unique and delicious dishes to attract and satisfy customers. Your responsibilities will include menu planning, food preparation, kitchen management, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.
You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant setting and possess excellent leadership skills to effectively manage and train kitchen staff. You should also have knowledge of various cuisines and the ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes.
In this role, you will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. You must also have strong organizational skills to manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain kitchen cleanliness. Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our restaurant.
Fluency in English is required for effective communication with staff and customers. A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred but not required. This position offers a competitive salary of $1300 per month.
