Auto Body Repair Technician

Our auto repair shop in Muscat is seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in body repair, with the ability to identify and fix a variety of vehicle damages, from minor dents to major collision damage. This position requires someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure. As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition, using various tools and techniques. This is a contract position, open to all nationalities, with free visa and ticket provided. Responsibilities:
- Assessing vehicle damage and determining the most efficient repair method
- Removing damaged parts and repairing or replacing them as needed
- Straightening bent frames using specialized equipment
- Welding or soldering broken metal parts
- Sanding, priming, and painting repaired areas
- Inspecting completed repairs for quality assurance
- Communicating with customers about the repair process and providing cost estimates

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in auto body repair
- Strong knowledge of different types of vehicles and their construction
- Proficiency in using various body repair tools such as welding equipment, sanders, and painting tools
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals/instructions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if necessary
