Instrument Technician

Our company, located in Muscat, is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes. This position requires hands-on experience working with a variety of instrumentation equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves.
- Install new instruments according to specifications and wiring diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments using various tools and techniques.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components in instruments.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician.
- Experience working with various types of instrumentation equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
- Good understanding of electrical principles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month. In addition to the salary, we also provide accommodation for our employees.
