Carpenter

A reputable construction company in Doha is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials. You will use a variety of tools and techniques to complete projects according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut, shape, and smooth wood pieces using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and framing
- Build cabinets, bookcases, counters, and other wooden structures
- Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter (minimum of 3 years)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand or power tools
- Strong knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
- Good math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials when needed
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills

Salary:
$1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Doha (candidate must be willing to relocate if not already based in Doha)

Contract Type:
Full-time (40 hours per week), 1-year contract with possibility for extension
