Power Engineer

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team in Eldoret. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical power systems and equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of power systems, including generators, transformers, and distribution networks.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new power systems
- Conducting feasibility studies for new projects
- Evaluating existing power systems and making recommendations for improvements
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Monitoring the performance of power systems and identifying areas for optimization
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to ensure seamless operations
- Managing budgets and timelines for projects
- Staying updated with advancements in technology to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Power Engineer or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of electrical power systems, equipment, and regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Proven project management experience
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
