Electrical Engineer
Our engineering firm in Svalbard is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. You will also collaborate with other engineers and technical professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and equipment
- Create electrical schematics and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct research to gather data on new technologies and materials for electrical systems
- Analyze data to determine the feasibility of proposed designs
- Collaborate with other engineers and technical professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with electrical systems or equipment
- Participate in project meetings with clients to discuss progress and provide updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes
- Proficient in using CAD software for creating schematics and diagrams
- Experience with conducting research and analyzing data for feasibility studies
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Willingness to travel for project meetings or site visits
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.
