Seasonal Executive Chef in Dubai
We are hiring a talented Executive Chef to join our team in Dubai for a seasonal position. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that reflect the local cuisine and cater to seasonal availability
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality and consistency
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to plan events and special menus
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of local cuisine and ability to create innovative menus using seasonal ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- Experience managing inventory, controlling food costs, and ensuring cleanliness standards are met
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
- Flexible schedule to accommodate seasonal demands (no English required)
- Valid work permit or visa sponsorship available for foreigners without experience
Salary: 1800$ per month (tax-free) + accommodation + meals + visa sponsorship
