We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team at a trendy café in Nizwa, Oman. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as other drinks and snacks. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for creating delicious drinks, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes
- Ensure quality control by properly measuring ingredients and following standard procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including equipment and work areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and handling payments
- Educate customers on our menu offerings and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Keep track of inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; barista training or certification is a plus
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista or in a similar role
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Malayalam is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with ease
- Strong knowledge of different coffee brewing techniques and latte art is an advantage
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality standards
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays
