Restaurant Manager - Wiltz, Kenya
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant in Wiltz, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management and be able to lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a positive work environment for all employees. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month and accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling
- Train and supervise staff to ensure quality service is provided at all times
- Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to provide feedback, address any issues, and motivate the team
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic accounting principles
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high-volume sales
- Knowledge of local cuisine and culture
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
