Driver for Transportation Company in Lom, India



We are seeking a skilled and responsible Driver to join our transportation company in Lom, India. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods and/or passengers to their designated locations.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws and regulations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to reach destinations on time
- Ensure the proper loading and unloading of goods or passengers onto the vehicle
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles before and after use
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, etc.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Handle any unexpected situations or delays in a professional manner
- Adhere to all safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license for commercial vehicles with clean driving record
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a professional driver (experience in commercial transportation preferred)
- Familiarity with Indian roads, traffic laws, and routes in Lom
- Ability to operate different types of vehicles (e.g. trucks, vans, buses) depending on company needs
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting
- Strong physical stamina for long hours of driving
