Multilingual Cashier (English, Hindi, Urdu)


A well-established retail store in Sharjah is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Multilingual Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with their purchases
- Process customer transactions using cash registers and electronic scanners
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and perform regular cash counts
- Handle exchanges and returns in accordance with store policies
- Ensure proper pricing of products and apply discounts as per promotions
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have
- Provide support to other departments as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in accounting or retail is a plus
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier or in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu; knowledge of additional languages is an asset
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally and calmly
- Excellent math skills with attention to detail for accurate cash handling
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month along with accommodation and visa sponsorship. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.
